InterContinental Bali Resort Grand Ballroom, A Contemporary Art Gallery Concept in Bali
This grand ballroom named The Imperial, consists of one main floor of the new building which is connected to the hotel ballroom consisting of two floors of the building. The entrance features a sleek design, decorated with a mixed of traditional and contemporary styles, paired with natural marbles, rosewood panels and decorative wall lamps. It offers a luxurious atmosphere which is reinvigorated with clean lines and a soft, neutral palette of fine linens and elegant finishes. These existing facilities are integrated into the new ballroom.
A lot of attention is given to the quality of the Audio Video System and Acoustic quality. The Imperial itself is situated on the Ground Floor, with a ceiling height of up to 10 meters. The ceiling is crowned with Alabaster and golden Balinese “Dedange” or steps. The original ballroom with a capacity of 600 people will remain to function as it is and with the possibility to be divided it into smaller rooms. This building is disabled-friendly, characterized by an adequate ramp and lift, toilets and hearing aid facilities for the disabled.
The 2300 sqm ballroom is designed for multi-purpose event. With an Art Gallery Concept, this Grand Ballroom pre-function and loggia is prepared for exhibition area. This combination of traditional-luxury with a Balinese touch is expressed through the selection of typical Balinese patterns, choice of materials and shiny finishes such as metal gold, bronze mirrors, marble, and timber panels and wooden accents. Ample space is provided for paintings, sculptures and mixed-media pieces fill every corner of this InterContinental Grand Ballroom.
